Your Life is Hid With Christ

By Alma Norman

For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory. (Col. 3:3-4)

A life without Christ is worthless and wasted, but a life with Christ is a worthy one. One can have Christ when he spiritually dies to the world of sin. Satan will no longer be his master and have dominion over him.

"But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which delivered you. Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness." (Rom. 6:17-18)

Forgiveness of our sins can only be brought about by obeying all of God's laws. Through the blood of Christ our sins are cleansed and we're made new creatures in Him. If the world cannot easily distinguish the difference between us and those of the world...

...maybe we should examine our lives.

We are to be a light to the world...

...We should not allow His gospel be hidden in us.

"But if ye walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin." (1 John 1:7)

"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." (2 Cor. 5:17)

When Christ finally appears to us all at the end of time, the world will at last see the spiritual lives hid with their eternal principles. There will no longer be any mysteries concerning the hereafter nor the lives we lived here as Christ's servants. Our lives will be manifested with Him to live with Him forever in heaven. The saints shall receive their reward.

...Your life hidden with Christ in God...Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory." (Col. 3: 3,4)

"Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints. Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son." (Col. 1:12, 13)
