In lesson #1 we saw the mankind had a need. His need was for a Redeemer.

The word Redeemer does not appear in the New Testament but the word redeem appears twice.

In the New Testament, the word redeem means “to buy up, i.e. ransom; figuratively, to rescue from loss (improve opportunity).”[1]

exagorazo (ex-ag-or-ad'-zo); from NT:1537 and NT:59; to buy up, i.e. ransom; figuratively, to rescue from loss (improve opportunity):

(KJV - redeem.)
