Verse one of Psalm chapter one tells us that ‘he’ is the man who does not listen to those who would lead him away from God’s teachings. He does not follow along with the crowd when the crowd is doing wrong. He does not produce ill will and discouragement among others.
He is the man/woman who makes studying God’s word a priority in his or her life. He is the man/woman who will reap the benefits and the blessings from making God a priority here on this earth and in the life to come.“He” ….
….is you and I!
Oh ladies, I cannot stress how important and crucial regular Bible study is for our lives. If I could give gifts and grant wishes to each of you that would make a difference in your life, regardless of who you are or where you are, I would give you God’s word and grant you the desire and commitment to spend time in it each day.
God’s word is powerful and it will make a difference in you and in your life!
I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies, as much as in all riches. I will meditate on Your precepts, and contemplate Your ways. I will delight myself in Your statutes; I will not forget Your word. (Psalm 119:14-16)ISBS Ladies Daily Devotional
