Thought Question:
As we read through
these very detailed descriptions and commands in the Old Testament, how do you
think God feels about the details of worship and do you think He has changed?
We are no longer
required to sacrifice animals; however, God has not changed one bit in His
attention to detail. He has given us by direct command and example everything we
need to know about how to worship Him. II Pet 1:2-4 tells us that we have been
given everything that pertains to life and godliness. Nothing is missing. In I
Cor 14:26-39, He tells us exactly what H e expects from us during worship. He
really leaves nothing to chance or to our interpretation as some might claim.
This is the same God of Israel. He does NOT change.
