 In chapters 24-31 Moses receives the law from God. Moses is now in the midst of the cloud and up in the mount with God.
  
1. How were the children of Israel to give their offering to the
Lord?
Ans.:
Willingly and with his heart.
 
2. What were they to provide so the Lord might dwell with them?
Ans.:
A sanctuary.
 
3. What did the LORD give them so they would know how to make it?
Ans.:
A pattern.
 
4. Discuss why it was important for the Israelites to follow the pattern. Would it have been proper for some of the Israelite women who were skillful at embroidery to embroider a covering for the table out of gold yarn to show their love for God?
Ans.:
The pattern was given to show what God wanted. We show our love for the Lord by giving Him what He wants.
 

5. What kind of covering were they to make for the ark?
Ans.:
Pure gold.
 

6. What provision was to be made to carry the ark? (The KJV says the ark would be born with them).
Ans.:
There were to be four rings of gold in the four corners of the ark and staves of shittim wood were to be placed through the rings so the men could carry it.
 

7. What was the mercy seat made of?
Ans.:
Pure gold.
 
8. What was to be placed on the mercy seat?
Ans.:
Two cherubims.
 
9. Where was the mercy seat to be placed?
Ans.:
Above the ark.
 
10. What was Moses to place in the ark?
Ans.:
The testimony that the Lord would give him.
 
11. Where would God meet with Moses?
Ans.:
From above the mercy seat.
 
12. With what was the table to be overlaid?
Ans.:
Pure gold.
 
13. What provision was to be made to bear the table?
Ans.:
Four rings of gold ion the corners and two staves of shittim wood.
 
14. The Lord called this the table of ________________.
Ans.:
Shewbread.
 
15. What were the candlesticks to be made of?
Ans.:
Pure gold.
