The coming of the Son of Man.
2. In what way does Matthew say the days will be the same?
For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage.
3. What characteristic of God does Peter mention while God waited in the days of Noah? (1 Pet. 3:20)
Longsuffering.
4. What blessing did Peter say the waters of the flood provided the eight souls that were on the ark? (1 Pet.3:20)
Salvation.
5. What did Peter identify as the figure or anti-type for us today in which the same blessing is provided? (1 Pet. 3:20, 21).
20 who formerly were disobedient, when once the Divine longsuffering waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water. 21 There is also an antitype which now saves us-baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
The waters of the flood are the type and the waters of baptism are the antitype. We have:
TYPE ANTITYPE
Water Water
Flood Baptism
Salvation Salvation
Water provided the flood Water provides baptism
Waters of the flood cleansed the earth Waters of baptism cleanse the sinner
Waters of the flood saved Noah Waters of baptism saves the sinner
Water is both type and antitype. The waters of the flood provided for Noah what the waters of baptism provide for the sinner. I see baptism as being the anti-type of the flood. But the water providing the flood is spoken of being the type, so its antitype must be the water that provides baptism.
6. What did Peter say that the wicked had forgotten? (2 Pet. 3:5, 6)
For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: 6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
7. What was it that Noah had that caused him to prepare the ark? (Heb. 11:7)

8. What did God destroy in the flood? (from Genesis chapter 6)
And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die. (Gen 6:17)
9. Why did God decide to destroy man?
And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. 7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. (Gen 6:5-7)
10. Describe the construction of the ark, it's composition and how it was made?
Make thee an ark of gopher wood: rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch. 15 And this is the fashion which thou shalt make it of: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits. 16 A window shalt thou make to the ark, and in a cubit shalt thou finish it above; and the door of the ark shalt thou set in the side thereof; with lower, second, and third stories shalt thou make it. (Gen 6:14-16)

Shem, Ham , Japheth
15. What did God say he would establish with Noah?
A covenant to keep Noah and his family and every living thing in the ark alive,

17. What were the names of Noah's daughters?

19. What would we have to do today to obey God to the same extent?
In order for us to walk with God as did Noah, we must do all the will of God (Mt. 7:21; Col. 4:12).
20. The ark was a figure of the church that was to come many years later. All of the saved in Noah's day were in the ark. All of the saved in these days of the New Testament are in the ________ (Acts 2:47). Church
