The LORD looks down from heaven upon the children of men, To see if there are any who understand, who seek God. (Ps 14:2)

Those who do not understand the grace of God, often make the point that surely God will not condemn to hell those in darkest Africa who never had an opportunity to hear and obey the gospel.  Yet we learn:

“...when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, 8in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,...            (2 Thess. 1:7-9)

God will take vengeance on those who do not know Him.

The Bible indicates that when God made us, he put within us a natural longing for God, a curiosity of our origins and  deep within, a knowledge that He exists.

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them.

“For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.

Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man--and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.”                    (Romans 1:18-23)

The fool has said in his heart, "There is no God." They are corrupt, They have done abominable works, There is none who does good.  (Psalms 4:1)

God continues to search the heart of each and every one, just in case there is one amongst the throng of humanity that is searching and longing to know Him.

On rare occasions he finds a heart that is seeking Him, such as Cornelius.  God sent Peter to Cornelius and Cornelius obeyed the gospel.  I pray the prayer often that God will send us to lost souls who are seeking the truth.  I know He knows the hearts of everyone, because He is searching and He can help us to find them.

Whether it is Africa, India, Mexico , Utah......... if there someone who is searching, He will find them.  There just may be such a person, right at this moment, near where you are because...

...He has put eternity in their hearts...(Ecc.3:11)
