Walk in wisdom toward
those who are outside, redeeming the time. Let your speech always be with
grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each
one (Colossians 4:5-6)
As we walk along this
path and bump into the non-believers, and share with them the Love of Jesus
Christ our Saviour, some will accept our teachings and turn immediately from
sin. However, a study of the Good Soil will show us that not everyone will
receive your warnings. Many will choose to continue traveling the wrong
direction on a one-way street.
We must remain steadfast
and continue trying to teach each one where they are on the pathway of
faith. You must:
Sanctify the Lord God in
your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you
a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear; having a good
conscience, that when they defame you as evildoers, those who revile your
good conduct in Christ may be ashamed. For it is better, if it is the will
of God, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil. (1 Peter 3:15-17)
Begin making a list of
lost souls on your pathway. These may be family members, friends, the bank
teller, grocery store cashier, postman, etc. Pray for opportunities everyday
to share the “Gospel of Peace” with one soul and turn them from a life
of danger and destruction.
He who wins souls is
wise. (Proverbs 11:30b)
