To You, O LORD, I lift
up my soul.
O my God, I trust in You; Let me not be ashamed; Let not my enemies
triumph over me.
Indeed, let no one who waits on You be ashamed; Let those be ashamed
who deal treacherously without cause.
Show me Your ways, O LORD; Teach me Your paths.
Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my
salvation; On You I wait all the day.
Remember, O LORD, Your tender mercies and Your lovingkindnesses, For
they are from of old.
Do not remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions;
According to Your mercy remember me,
For Your goodness' sake, O LORD. (Psalm 25:1-7)
We Are Lead In The truth By His Word
GOD, who at various times and in various ways spoke in times past to
the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son,
whom He has appointed heir of all things through whom also He made the
worlds;...(Heb. 1:1-2)
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with GOD, and the
Word was GOD. He was in the beginning with GOD. All things were made
through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was
life, and the life was the light of men.(John 1:1-4)
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His
glory, the glory of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
(John 1:14)
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable
for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,
that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good
work. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
God has shown us mercy by giving His Son to die on the cross for
our sins. (John 3:16-17; 1 Peter 1:3)
We obtain the forgiveness from our (transgressions) sins by
obeying Christ. (Matt. 28:18-20; John 14:15)
Our sins are removed when we are baptized into Christ... Acts
2:38; Acts 22:16; Rom.6:1-14; Col. 2:11-13; 1 Pet. 3:21
God no longer remembers our sins when
we have obeyed His Son:
But the Holy Spirit also witnesses to us; for after He had said
before,
"This is the covenant that I will make with them after those
days, says the LORD: I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I
will write them," then He adds, "Their sins and their lawless
deeds I will remember no more."
Now where there is remission of these, there is no longer an
offering for sin. (Hebrews 10:15-18)
