Take Time To Be Still

When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; what is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou has made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet.....  (Psalms 8:3-6)

O Lord our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!  (Psalms 8:9)

Do we stop to consider God's awesome creation?  Do we take time each day to "be still" and consider what God has given to us?

Do we remember we have a responsibility toward God and all mankind? 

 It is a humbling experience to gaze into the heavens and consider it's vastness and yet God created each and every star, the planets, sun, moon.  He even has a name for each one.  

He telleth the number of the stars; He calleth them all by their names.  (Psalms 147:4)

Let's all take time to be still.........

                       .......and think about God,

                              ........what he has done for us

   ........and the reward that we have at the end of this earthly life.
