Sunshine and Rain

God sends forth the sunshine

to make the flowers bloom

Sunshine brightens our days

and chases away the gloom.

 

God sends us the rain

to make the flowers grow

Showers his bountiful blessings

on his children below.

 

As God sends the sunshines and rain,

we experience highs on the mountain tops

and lows in the dark valleys

that of happiness and pain.

 

God gives us what we need;

he'll straighten our paths

If we'll allow him to take the lead.

 

His word is our lamp

unto our feet each day,

keeping it safe in our hearts

shedding his light along our way.

 

Love and trust God

and serve him faithfully always

Give him the glory

and also the praise.

 

And I will bring the blind by a way [that] they knew not; I will lead them in paths [that] they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them. (Isa.42:16)

For You will light my lamp; The LORD my God will enlighten my darkness. For by You I can run against a troop, By my God I can leap over a wall.

As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the LORD is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him.

It is God who arms me with strength, And makes my way perfect. He makes my feet like the feet of deer, And sets me on high places.

You have also given me the shield of Your salvation; Your right hand has held me up, Your gentleness has made me great. You enlarged my path under me, So my feet did not slip. (Psalm 18:28-30; 32-33; 35-36)
