those who have overcome (after the first heaven and earth are passed away)

Revelation describes the holy city, the church, in its final glory, and Ezekiel was shown the church that was yet to come.

7. What do the descriptions in v. 11-21 suggest about the holy city?

It is glorious (11-13, 16-21); built on the gospel (14), secure (12-13)…

8. Why is there no need for the sun and moon (22-27)?

because of the glory of God and the Lamb

9. Why are the gates of the city never shut?

There is no night there.
