Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Matthew 5:8

 

True happiness is possessed by those who are of a pure heart, a heart not mixed with contaminants. The Biblical heart is a composition of intellect, emotion and will. All three constituent elements must be pure for the heart to be pure.
