Singing
In The Morning

But I will sing of Your power; Yes, I will
sing aloud of Your mercy in the morning; For You have been my defense and refuge
in the day of my trouble.
To You, O my Strength, I will sing praises; For God is my defense, My God of mercy. (Ps.59:16-17)
These two verses vividly bring back memories of my mother singing in the kitchen when I was a child. She would sing while she was cooking or washing dishes. She sang all day long while she worked. She sang praises to God. She taught me so much about loving God and His importance in her life when she sang.
I remember that she had some things that were troubling her. She told me at that time that “Faith Is The Victory” was her favorite song. She sang it often.
She also loved to sing “An Empty Mansion”. Another favorite was, “Crossing the Bar”. Oh, how much we teach our children when we sing to them!
“Faith is the victory, Faith is the victory, Oh glorious victory that overcomes the world………”
But
