Be
still,
and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted
in the earth. (Psalms 46:10)
Many times we get so busy that we forget to do important things. This holds true even with .
.Our thoughts
.Our praise
.Our adoration
.Of and to our God.
Sometimes, I think I should type the verse above, print it and then tape it to the back of my hand as a continual reminder to stop, reflect, and pray to God. It could help me to remember to do just what it says:
"Be still, and know that I am God...".
We need to have him habitually in our minds, in out hearts and in our being. We should have an outlook that motivates us to stop,
.in silent submission,
.and show our love and adoration for Him throughout our days and nights.
There is a time to shout His name and to proclaim His truths. We can also proclaim much, by our example of silent submission to Him, as well.
We need to stop and consider that the Lord God of the patriarchs was, is and will always be! He will always be there even when all others have forsaken us. He will always listen to us if we will but go to Him in prayer.
Our lives should never become so busy with the day to day world that we cannot take the time to stop in silent submission and know that He is God.
We can know that we are able to put our full and unafraid trust in Him and He will always be there.
