Smith's Old York Lentils
1 1/2 c. lentils
6c. cold water
2 stalks celery
1 med. onion
2 small carrots
1 1/2 c. cooked tomatoes
3 chicken bouillon cubes
salt
Wash
lentils. Place in kettle with 3t. salt. Cover.
Simmer 45 min. Add vegetables and pepper. Simmer 1
hour
