Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy, and gathered out of the lands, from the east and from the west, from the north and from the south. (Psalm 107:1-3)
And in that day you will say: "O LORD, I will praise You; Though You were angry with me, Your anger is turned away, and You comfort me. Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; “For YAH, the LORD, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation."
Therefore with joy you will draw water From the wells of salvation. And in that day you will say: "Praise the LORD, call upon His name; Declare His deeds among the peoples, Make mention that His name is exalted.
Sing to the LORD, For He has done excellent things; This is known in all the earth. 6) Cry out and shout, O inhabitant of Zion, For great is the Holy One of Israel in your midst!" (Isaiah 12:1-6)
Have you noticed that there more people at the mall or shopping centers on Sunday’s than in the church?
My husband and I recently moved to New Jersey and we have found that Sunday is the biggest shopping day of the week!!! Can you imagine? Not getting up to go to church, but you can go to buy clothes and shoes. Do people not realize if not for God they would have nothing? Sometimes I feel like stopping people and asking “Can you not spare 2 or 3 hours to be with your Savior?
When I look at the news and see all the crimes being committed, people killing and being killed, I can not help but think that it is obvious that Satan desires to take down all these people because he knows his time here is short. I wonder if many in the world are aware of the spiritual battle that is raging.
For me, I am deathly afraid of not being a child of God. Not being able to go home to glory is something I can not bare to think about. I try to keep a prayerful mind and heart. I always try to think “is this something God will approve of”? I fall short and I know it. God knows it, but I continue to pick myself up and keep going because I refuse to be anything else but the best Christian I can possibility be.
Just thinking of God’s grace and mercy is reason enough for us to SHOUT PRAISES FROM THE ROOF TOPS, and yet there are thousands upon thousands who would think us crazy for these praises. There is only one thing left to do. We must double our efforts of spreading the Word of the Lord. If not by word of mouth then by actions and deeds. You see, it’s the end results that matters.
Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the LORD, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. (Isaiah 40:28)
