Please open Pigeonhole 4 or 5 and copy/paste it into a new email.  Look over Pigeonhole 4 or 5 (Kiddie Korral (4)* or Kid's Korner (5)** ) to get familiar with its contents.  Our lessons plans are very simple.

In Pigeonhole 5 notice that Billie has put her name beside several lessons.  She has also typed in a (W)  (D)  (G) beside her name.  In doing so Billie has indicated that she wants to write (W) some lessons and other lessons she wants to write (W), design (D) and do graphics (G).  This is how you also will indicate the area of involvement that you desire.  Below is a list of the Acronyms necessary to complete this form before you send it back to us:

Acronyms

Writer  ~ Acronym : (W)

Designer ~ Acronym : (D)

Graphics ~ Acronym: (G)

Definition of Terms

Writer (W):  A writer will use the passage she has chosen and prepare a lesson totally from “scratch” using her writing skills, imagination, experience and above all her knowledge and love of the scriptures as well as her love for the young people she will have the privilege of preparing these lessons to teach.

Designer (D):  A designer will use approved* graphic/puzzle making sources to create puzzles, activities, games, songs etc........ to go with a lesson. (* The reason they have to be approved is so that Billie can check them against our ability to use them.  Some sites just don’t work with our mailing abilities/format. Kelcie and Billie have done a lot of research and Billie found the site that she now recommends for our use. If you have any questions when you start working with the lesson please don’t hesitate to correspond with us.  We have sent hundreds of emails back and forth to each other trying to figure things out/work out the bugs etc... and so now it is your turn.  If you need to contact us dozens of times until you get your “designing” problem resolved, believe me, we will be sympathetic and understanding because we have been there/done that too.  )

Graphics (G)  A Graphic’s Designer will add clip art and other appropriate graphics to lessons after the lessons are completed.  The graphics make the lessons look more appealing and they make learning exciting and fun.  Graphics also help to focus on certain areas for emphasis.  Please open up mailings 3 and 4.  You will see how Billie and Kelcie have used large colorful letters in the titles.  Kelcie has added a star.  Billie has a welcoming puppy dog.  She also included some clip art that gets the kids in the mood to study.  Her homework graphic signals that it is time to get down to the serious business of doing their assignments. The crayons set the mood for fun activities.  Therefore you can see that the Graphics Designer has an important role.  Please confer with Billie on the sources of graphics. ( Please read the message with the * in the Designer (D) section above.)

 Age Guideline

* Kiddie Korral material is aimed for children who are ages 5 to 8 years old.

** Kid's Korner material is aimed for children who are ages 8 and above.

 *Important*

Please refer back to the Pigeonhole 4 or 5 email page you have prepared.  Now fill in the areas in which you wish to be involved.  Place a (W) (D) and/or a (G) on the lessons you desire to prepare or help to prepare.   If two people select the same area of involvement on the same lesson, I will give it to the person who emails me  first.  If your selection has been taken before I hear from you, you will be given an opportunity to choose another set of lessons/area of involvement.

We will be looking forward to hearing back from you and to working together with you in designing some exciting, enriching and stimulating lessons!  May God be glorified in all that we do together!
