Whole Hearted Service
INTRODUCTION
In this course we will be looking at whole hearted service and how to achieve it. It is my hope and prayer that all who begin this course will finish it and that they will come away with knowledge of how we can give whole hearted service to our Lord.
In these lessons there will be some basic rules that need to be adhered to in order for things to go smoothly. Remember there are more than you taking the course and therefore, certain ways need to be used to insure prompt attention to the grading of your lessons and returning your grade to you. These rules are as follows:
WHS Lesson # - your name
My hope is that we will enjoy our time together and learn from one another. There may be times, if time allows, that I will want to share answers you give with the rest of the class, if this is not acceptable to you then please let me know that with your first lesson. You can just tell me that you would rather I not share your answers and I will not.
My favorite verse is Isaiah 40:31: But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; and they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. My liking of this verse has made me more aware of different sayings and verses that remind me of it. One such saying goes like this:
In the presence of trouble,
Some people grow wings;
Others buy crutches.

One of the ways we can always have wings is to study the Word of God and learn His commands and His wishes for us then and only then can we be obedient and learn to have wings that will carry us through both good and bad times. My hope is that every Christian has wings!
