1.     How is one able to "rejoice in the Lord" and where must that one be? (cf. Psalm 19:8; Phil 3:1, also from Phil.1:17-18)

 So we can see that being able to "Rejoice in the Lord" requires that one first sustain a certain  relationship with the Lord regarding the "flesh" and the "spirit." Many religious people, "church members," certainly may have reason to rejoice, but there is no blessing or approval from the Lord in it. Are we walking after the flesh or after the Spirit? Do we know enough of the teachings of the Spirit to walk after Him? An old saying comes to mind about those  who are good at "talking the talk" but who have missed the way of "walking the walk." It is my prayer that we are not of that number.
