My Ways Are Not Your Ways Syllabus obcmy2
OBC My Ways Are Not Your Ways Lesson 2
God’s Way is walking in joy. Man’s way is walking in anxiety.
Isaiah 55:8 & 9
“For my
thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your
ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts”
It is God’s way that we walk in joy. You might say, “How can I walk in joy
when I have all of these problems?” Too often we choose to walk as men in
anxiety, instead of in joy. We will examine some scriptures that teach us to
walk in joy. We will also consider what the scriptures say about anxiety.

10. Does God
care about bird and grass? We know that God cares about small things such as

birds and grass. What makes us anxious? (See the end of Matt. 6:30.)
____________________.
We know that worry and anxiety are counter productive. They hurt us mentally,
and even sometimes physically. This is the way of the world.
