New Testament Survey Class Seven:

Seventh Class: Overview of Hebrews, James, and Jude, three general epistles, but equally powerful in the New Testament, will be studied in the class. (The book of Hebrews is somewhat unique to this class, but it likewise is considered more general because authorship is contended, but not the inspiration. This book’s thrust, purpose, will be considered in this class as also James’ and Jude’s letters too.)

1.) The book of Hebrews is a unique book in the New Testament. It begins with an essay (1:1-2); it progresses with a “sermon” (2:1-4); and it ends as a “letter” ( 13:23 -25): Its contents are intellectually challenging, and most difficult if a working knowledge of the Old Testament does not exist. This book and the book of Revelation are sometimes equated in difficulty to understand. Will you take time to read this book? Key: Yes or No answers this question.
