God has blessed us with yet another new year. Through His grace He lets us arise in the morning. He keeps us safe all through the night. He allows us to continue running this Christian race, which means He has given us yet another chance to "get it right".
With this new year upon us we should strive to "Be all we can be". As the soldiers of Christ we must fight the good fight and put on the Whole armor of God!
But I will sing of thy power, yea I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defense and refuge in the day of mine trouble. Unto thee, O my strength, will I sing: for God is my defense and the God of my mercy. (Psalms 59:16-17)
If you think your alarm clock got you up this morning, then try taking your alarm clock to a graveyard and see how many people it gets up. God has showed us much mercy. He has given us defense while we sleep and defense when we go out. He has allowed us to remain on this earth to do His will and to do the works that He has set for us to do.
Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. (Psalms 51:10)So in this New Year we should change any wrongs that we have done unto God. We should all strive to do better in this New Year that God has blessed us with.
