NEW CORN BREAD RECIPE

 2 EGGS   2 T. OIL    1 CUP WATER

 1/2 C MILK OR BUTTERMILK

 2 C STONE GROUND CORN MEAL

 2 TEASPOON BAKING POWDER

 1 TEASPOON SALT

 PREHEAT OVEN TO 450 DEGREE.  PLACE GREASED CAST IRON SKILLET IN OVEN TO HEAT.  BEAT EGGS IN MIXING BOWL.  ADD REMAINING INGRED. IN ORDER LISTED; STIR UNTIL WELL BLENDED.  POUR BATTER INTO HOT PAN AND BAKE 20 TO 25 MINUTES OR UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN MAKES ONE 9 INCH PAN OR 8 TO 12 MUFFINS
