Lesson Text: Matthew 5:1-2;23-24
And seeing the multitudes, He went up on a mountain, and when He was seated His disciples came to Him. 2 Then He opened His mouth and taught them, saying: …"Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, 24 leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift."
20 If someone says, "I love God," and
hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother
whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? 21 And this
commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his
brother also. (1 John 4:20-21)
AN IMPORTANT LESSON TO LEARN
Did you hit your brother? Are you going to pray to God before you go to sleep? If so, you must say "I'm sorry" to your brother before you pray to God. God does not want hear from you until you have asked your brother to forgive you. It is important to God that we are kind to one another. The Bible teaches us that we cannot say we love God if we do not love one another.
