If you
had lived on earth when Christ was alive would you have believed He
was who He said He was?Many who knew Him when He
lived on earth did not believe He was the Promised One. Our lesson
today begins with some in Jerusalem arguing about who Christ was.

List the things these people said about Jesus:
1) Some wondered if Jesus really was the Messiah since the Jews
wanted to kill Him but they weren't saying anything and He
was still speaking boldly in the temple. The people said
they knew where Jesus was from but according to the Jewish
beliefs, nobody would know the origin of the Messiah.

read in verse 30 that they sought to take Him; but no one laid a hand
