Fill in the blanks from John 6:25-29

1. And when they found Him on the other side of the sea, they said to Him, "Rabbi, when did You come here?" (vs. 25).

2. Do not work for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him."

3. Then they said to Him, "What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?"

4. Jesus answered and said to them, "This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent."

 

Choose the correct answer.

What did the people ask Jesus to do? (verse 30)

a. What sign will You perform so that we may believe You?

As the bread of life, can we literally eat Jesus with our mouths?  NO

Would literally eating Jesus help us to never be thirsty for water again?  NO

Of course, you answered "no" to both of those questions. Jesus was not talking about physical food and water. He was using figures of speech.
