Practice The Golden Rule
Our God is kind. Our Savior demonstrated kindness to all He met while He lived on the earth. God's heart is drawn to humans who have kind hearts. The art of being kind is learned through being able to put ourselves in another's shoes. It is the knack of understanding how others feel, seeing their needs, and assisting them when we have the ability to do so. People suffer from loneliness, financial distress, sickness, bereavement from the loss of a loved one; sometimes people just need to know that we forgive them when they have offended us. (I Pet. 4:8). The list goes on and on.
