Paul told the Corinthian brethern that he was afraid they would be decieved by Satan, just as Eve was. Christ's teachings are not hard or confusing. The path of salvation is not mysterious. Paul said that His teachings are simple. Satan and his followers have corrupted the Truth! If someone teaches things other than what the scriptures teach he is the advocate of Satan.
