His Way Is Always Right
By Regaina Thompson

Why do You stand afar off, O Lord?  Why do you hide in the times of trouble? (Psalms 10:1)

How often do we hear people say ," Why doesn't God do something about this injustice?" OR How often do we ourselves feel that God is not listening to our prayers? Let's look at some possible reasons why God could seem "afar off".

One reason could be sin in our lives.

Do we come to God for help, but forget to ask forgiveness for the sins that may be standing in our way?

Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray....Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed.  The effective fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.(Jms. 5:13-16)

Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall. (I Cor. 10:12)

Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fail according to the same example of disobedience.( Heb 4:11)

Are we impatient like little children? God knows the perfect timing in our lives.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding..  In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths.  Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and depart from evil.(Prov 3:5-7)

Our way isn't always the right way.

There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death. (Prov 14:12)

I Jn 5:14 says that we should have confidence that He hears us. We don't always explain why to our children and God certainly doesn't have to explain to us. He promised to hear us. Our job is to accept His answers, whether it is yes, no,or wait awhile.

 His way is ALWAYS right.
