"The fool said in his heart, there is no God.  Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good." (Psalms 53:1)

It has been said that only a fool would deny the existence of God.  In my mind this statement makes sense. Anyone who can look out a window and see the sunshine, birds, trees, and so many other things made by God and deny His existence, can only be as one described in Psalms 53:1. 

God in His infinite wisdom has created more beauty in this physical world than man could ever hope or even imagine creating.  The beauty of a tree, its branches, leaves, and roots is so intricate and beautiful.  The beauty of the birds in the air, their colors and their habits are too involved for us to even understand without years of study.  The colors of nature are more beautiful than an artist's prize painting.  We could go on and on naming many things in our world that prove there has to be a higher being.

   A newborn baby is so intricate and amazing!  I am at awe when I consider the conception, the fertilization, the gestation time, the perfect balance of this tiny being. I think of the source of nutrition God planned for the baby. What a remarkable marvel is birth!

 After viewing all that God has done one has to wonder if a person who denies His existence is devoid of the ability to discern what they see and hear.  Are they devoid of moral discernment as well?  Only a Supreme Higher Power could keep our world  working and regenerating with each new season, with each new birth, with each new day!

A POWER HIGHER THAN YOU AND I

Who is it that makes the sky so blue
Who made the clouds just that color too?
Who was it, I wonder, that could really do
Such wonderful artwork for me and you?

 Did you ever notice how perfect the color
Of the leaves in the fall with their colorful hue?
Have you noticed the sunrise and its brilliance
Doesn't it make you stand in awe at its greatness?

 There are so many wonders and beauties around us
How could we not believe in a higher power?
Yes, my friend, I do see the hand
Of a power higher than mortal man.

 You see the sky and the clouds are so perfect
The colors of fall so beautifully depicted.
The grass is so intricately patterned
The waters so many different colors and hues.

 Only God with His greatness and power
Could have made a world of such awesome wonder.
Only God who can see all of our hearts
Could know that we hunger for that art!

 Think of the music of the wind in the pines
The melodious harmonies of the creatures at night.
What beautiful symphonies we can encounter
If we but stop and take time to listen and ponder!

 Our God He is great and wondrous and alive
Just look at the night sky and stars of light!
We are so blessed and so very right
If we but accept the God of all wonder and might!
