God Knows The Obedient

By Billie Duty

God created man from the dust of the earth

And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being. (Genesis 2:7)

With all the technology in the world today, we cannot do this. Although many men experiment with cloning, they cannot start with dust and make a breathing man.

In Genesis 7 we read of the flood that destroyed all that was not on the ark. Our God caused this great flood and He "sat enthroned (Ps. 29:10)" during this great destruction, but He remembered the obedient.

In this world today where there is so much evil, God is in control,…               ….Watching,

                              ….Waiting,

And He knows the obedient.  He will save His children on the last day.

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.

Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat?

Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells. (2 Peter 3:10-13)
