God Is Watching
By Billie Duty
The fool has said in his heart, "There is no God." They are corrupt,
They have done abominable works, There is none who does good. (Psalm 14:1)

When reading the above verses, I think of the world today. We have those who are wanting marriage to be defined as any two people, such as two women or two men. God specifically tells us in His Word that marriage is between a man and a woman (Gen. 2:23-25; Matt. 19:5; Mark 10:7; Eph. 5:31). We see in Genesis 2 that Eve was the wife and Adam was the man or husband. I heard this statement that is worth repeating:

"God made Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve."

People in the world are doing so many things that are against the teachings of God.

 ~ They kill unborn babies.

    ~ They have same sex relationships.

       ~They lie to one another and to themselves.

          ~They fornicate and  commit adultery.

             ~They  divorcing for any reason and remarry.

               ~~~~ On and on and on the list can go ~~~~
The world changes the words of the sin so that it does not sound so bad.
* Homosexuality is called a gay lifestyle (I remember a time when gay meant happy).
* Killing an unborn baby is called aborting a fetus.
* Fornication is called living together...
Sin is Sin no matter what words or names we give it.
Those in the world lie to themselves.  They say, "There is no God".
As we (God’s children) live in the world, we see all the sinful ways that has become a way of life for so many.
The LORD looks down from heaven upon the children of men, To see if there are any who understand, who seek God. They have all turned aside, They have together become corrupt; There is none who does good, No, not one. (Psalm 14:2-3)
Our Lord is watching.
He sees all that is happening.
He knows who seeks Him (Heb. 11:6).
God has warned all who sin. He has even given us examples of sin from the lives of those in the past  who sinned.
"Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And the LORD was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. So the LORD said, "I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them." But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD." (Gen 6:5-8)
God destroyed the earth and all in it by water, except Noah, his wife, his three sons, their wives, and the animals that were on the ark. (Gen. 6-8).
Because not even 10 righteous souls could be found in Sodom and Gommorah, God destroyed those two cities with fire and brimstone.  Only three souls were spared: Lot and his two daughters. His wife disobeyed God as she was leaving the city and she was turned to a pillar of salt. (Gen. 18:16-Gen. 19:29)
He is watching today.
How does He see you?
Are you living among the world or among the righteous?
