Sometimes we look around and wonder why
it seems that the
wicked always prosper. However, according
to PS 11:4, "God is watching".
In this Psalm, it says He tests the righteous,
but He hates the wicked.
We do what is right for our children,
regardless of the pain they must endure. Heb 12:5-11 tells us that
God disciplines those He loves.
What do we learn from the good
times and the times of prosperity?
When our heart is at its best, we
say that God is good and we enjoy His blessings.
What do we learn in hard times?
Typically, we grow the most spiritually
when we weather the storms of life! God knows this and allows us to
have opportunities for growth. If He gave us prosperity all the
time, we might forget Him, just as the Isrealites did.
Let us remember Psalm 11. God is
watching! We all will be rewarded according to our obedience or condemned
because of our wickedness.
