Text: Ephesians 2:1-9  

1.  Verse 1 literally reads, "And you, who were dead in trespasses and sins."

     What is the significance of the word "were" in that verse? (Go to vs. 5 for help)

 2.  Verse 2 refers to the "time past," as opposed to the time Paul was writing to the Ephesians.  How were the Ephesians "walking" during that "time past"?

3.  Is it possible for people today to walk according to the prince of the power of the air? [A yes or no will do here]

4.  Asking it a different way, Is it possible for that spirit to now work in children of disobedience?

And if it is possible for people to be led by the Holy Spirit today without His having to literally dwell within us, how does he lead today? [Two answers are required here. The first is a yes or no answer, the second answer may be found in 2 Tim. 3:16, 17 and 2 Pet. 1:3.]
