Buttermilk Dressing

From Sandy Ditoro’s kitchen

1 cup mayonnaise

½ c. buttermilk

1 T. grated parmesan cheese

1 T. snipped fresh chives,parsley or dillweed; (1 t. dried chives or parsley; or ½ t. dried dillweed (I use dried dillweed)

¼ t. garlic powder

¼ t. onion powder

1/8  t.  pepper

1 to 2 T. milk (opt.)

 

Stir together mayonnaise  and buttermilk.  Stir in cheese, herb, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper.  Cover and store in refrigerator up to 2 weeks.  If necessary, stir in milk to make of desired consistency. Makes 1 ½ c. (24 1-T. servings)
