Butter Baked Chicken & Gravy 

 
1 cut-up chicken (or can use 6 to 8 chicken breasts)
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 can cream of chicken soup
3/4 cup milk
1/4 cup water
salt/pepper to taste
flour
 
Roll chicken pieces in salt, pepper & flour.  Melt butter in a 13 x 9" baking dish.  Put floured chicken pieces in dish skin side down (I usually use skinless breasts, but it is a matter of preference & what you have on hand) Bake uncovered at 375 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
Turn chicken over & pour this mixture over; cream of chicken soup, milk & water (have these mixed together before pouring over chicken).  Bake 30 minutes longer.

* This recipe is So Easy, but really delicious!  It's good enough for company.  The gravy is good over mashed potatoes, stuffing or rice.
