Be Wise With What Is Left Of 2005

Many today believe that they have done enough by attending Church on Sunday and going to Bible classes but when it comes to working in the Lords vineyard, the vineyard appears to be empty.
Jesus
commanded everyone that is in the "one" body, the
Church
of Christ,
to go unto all the world preaching the Gospel Matt 28:19 Jesus said if you
love me; you will keep my commandments. Jesus also said:
He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. (John 14:21)
Ask yourself, “Do I really love Jesus”?
We are to spread the Gospel of Christ every chance we get if we really do love him. Therefore why don't we? Why are we not out spreading the Gospel of Christ?
We
have a million excuses:
I
don't have enough time,
I work,
I don't feel comfortable talking to strangers,
No one will listen...
Etc...
Noah preached for 120 years and only 8 souls were saved in the flood, but Noah didn't give up! Why? It was because he loved God,and because he loved his fellow man!
We can keep making excuses or we can "CHANGE". We can prove to God that we love him by following his Son’s commandments!
What have you done so far this year to bring souls to God? One third of this year is already gone! Are we doing nothing for God when he has done "ALL" for us!
We need to put on the Whole Armor of God, not just one piece of Armor, the one piece we choose to wear only on Sundays and Wednesday nights.
The Apostle Paul said:
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” (Rom 1:16)
Are you ashamed of
the Gospel of Christ?
Think for a moment. Where would you be right now if "NO ONE" had spread the Gospel to you?
The
Bible says:
Let us be wise in what is left of 2005! Let us stop allowing Satan to keep us from spreading the Gospel! Let’s not allow Satan to keep giving us any more excuses for us not spreading the Gospel!
Ways you can start to spread the Gospel
1.) Ask your minister for church pamphlets to hand out or to put in the mail.
2.) Make copies so that you have a plenteous supply. Copys are only 10 cents a copy at almost any grocery store. Most grocery stores have copy machines.
3.) Knock on doors.
4.) Stand in front of a grocery store and hand tracts to people that walk by. Ask the stores permission first. Most stores will say “yes”!
5.) Keep a stack of pamphlets in your car so that you can hand them to the lady at the checkout counter when you go in to pay a bill or to buy things.
6.) Put an old table in front of your house with a stack of church pamphlets on it and erect a sign on the table that reads: FREE BIBLE STUDY! TAKE ONE! THEY ARE FREE! You will be surprised how many times you will have to refill the table!
7.) If you own a business why not paint the plan of Salvation and what Church it can be found at on a wall somewhere so that your customers can see it? If customers do not go to your building then why not paint it outside the building so that people that drive by will see it?
