Global Warming Is A Myth

A certain political activist group wants to make laws governing our lives based on their belief that man has the power by neglect or design to destroy the world we live in.  If these people truly believe what they teach, they must live in great fear.  They fear that man has the ability to destroy the ozone layer which will cause our earth to burn up.  They fear that man will use up all the earth’s natural resources.  They fear that man will cause the solar ice caps to melt.  They fear that man will over populate the planet. Etc. etc. etc……………….

I believe in God is in control of everything.  I believe that it would be impossible for man to destroy our world before God planned for it to be destroyed.  I have no fear of the green house effect or of global warming.  Why?  Because of a promise that God made long ago:

 8. “While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, Cold and heat, winter and  summer, and day and night shall ____  ______ .”  (Genesis 8:22)

How thankful I am for an all powerful God and for my faith in Him.  I would hate to live in this world and not know these things.  There would be all kinds of things my imagination could make up to fear.

  9. …It is not for you to know ______ ___ ________ which the Father has put in His own authority… Acts 1:7

God Is Omnipotent

 10. And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, “Alleluia! For the Lord God __________ reigns! (Rev.19:6)

What does Omnipotent mean?  It means, “All powerful, almighty, ruler of all”.

Let us consider some areas found in the scripture that illustrates His Omnipotence:

When the big tsunami wave hit and killed hundreds of people in Indonesia and other places, I immediately heard on the radio the theory that terrorist had set off a nuclear blast in the ocean and that it had shifted the plates of the earth.  Those of us who believe the Bible know that this will not happen unless God causes it or allows it to happen. For instance, at the end of time:

23. Of old You laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of Your hands. They will perish, but You will endure; Yes, they will all grow old like a garment; like a cloak____  ____  _____  _____, and they will be changed.  But You are the same, and Your years will have no end. What God has made, He regulates.  Our God is Omniscient (having infinite awareness, understanding and insight; possessing universal or complete knowledge) and Omnipotent (almighty, all powerful, ruler of all).   He is above all authority.

33. Your hands have _______  me and _________me; Give me understanding that I may learn Your______________ . (Ps.119:73)

Let’s review:

34. Will the seasons end before the world ends?  How do you know?
