[Read chapter 12]

1. The Lord marked the month of deliverance for the Israelites as the first month of the sacred year. What was the name of the first month? (Exodus 13:4) [This 30-day month corresponds to parts of our March & April.

14. For how long were the people of Israel to observe this Passover feast? (Exodus 12:24)

In the New Testament the Greek word for Passover is "pascha." It can be found in Acts 12:4 where it is erroneously translated "Easter" in the King James version.

8	Locusts	Agriculture magicians	Their magicians could not call upon their god to protect their crops
9	Darkness	Amen-Ra God of the air, gives breath of life	Their sun-gad could not shine.
10	Death of first born	Osiris - God of life, judge of the dead, is claimed he rose from the dead	The first-born was devoted to Jehovah. It represented the excellence of Egypt.
