Lesson 7 – Godliness                                              April 21

Lesson 8 – Brotherly Kindness & Charity (Love)    April 28

In these lessons there will be some basic rules that need to be adhered to in order for things to go smoothly.  Remember there are more than you taking the course and therefore, certain ways need to be used to insure prompt attention to the grading of your lessons and returning your grade to you.  These rules are as follows:

*

1. Please be sure to COPY and PASTE each lesson in its entirety with your answers to a new email to send to me at:  RainwaterB3@aol.com Send no attachments. I do not open attachments. Copy/paste your work into the email text and return it for grading. [Thankew]

2. Please be sure to make your answers in a different color than the lesson itself.  That may seem like a little thing but it makes it much easier for me to grade the tons of lessons that I receive and to find the answers quickly without having to read through the entire thing.

3. Each lesson will be due on Saturday of each week.  If for some reason you cannot send the lesson in at the time it is suppose to be, just let me know that you will be sending it in late.  I am more than willing to work with anyone who may need to send in late because of their busy schedules.

4. In the SUBJECT line of each lesson please write the acronym for the course, the lesson number and your name.  Example:

     POTDN – Lesson # - your name

All scripture quotes are taken from King James Version as that is my version of choice for almost all of my work.

5. Please be sure to hold on to a copy of the answered lesson that you send to me.  As is the nature of computers sometimes they go berserk and we loose everything!  I would hate for you to send in a lesson (the only copy) and then something happen to it and me have to contact you and say do you have another copy and you have to say no I don’t, which would mean you would have to do it again and re-send to me for me to be able to grade your answers.

6. If this is the first time you have ever taken a course of mine please send me an introduction about yourself before you start the lessons so I may get to know you as a student.  This helps more than you can imagine in relating as teacher and student.  If you have taken courses with me before then you do not need to do this

7. My hope is that we will enjoy our time together and learn from one another.  There may be times, if time allows, that I will want to share answers you give with the rest of the class, if this is not acceptable to you then please let me know that with your first lesson.  You can just tell me that you would rather I not share your answers and I will not.

 My favorite verse is Isaiah 40:31:  “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; and they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”  My liking of this verse has made me more aware of different sayings and verses that remind me of it.  One such saying goes like this:

“In the presence of trouble,

some people grow wings;

others buy crutches.”

~ unknown ~

One of the ways we can always have wings is to study the Word of God and learn His commands and His wishes for us then and only then can we be obedient and learn to have wings that will carry us through both good and bad times.  My hope is that every Christian have wings!
