We will continue as we have in the past using a variety of question forms, multiple choice, fill in the blank and questions that may required some research on your part. A good Bible dictionary is recommended. You may want to use this link to get you to the online version of the W.E Vine's Dictionary. There are many other online helps that can be found. In this marvelous book we see the last appearance of the Lord on this earth, His ascension, the great events on the Day of Pentecost, the empowering of the apostles with the baptism of the Holy Spirit, the beginning of the church, the pattern to be followed by the church for soul winning and the spread of the gospel throughout the world by courageous men. The Missionary Journeys of the beloved apostle Paul will also be a part of this study. The teachings of this book are too vast to be considered in eight short lessons; therefore we will consider the book in parts. Each of our OBC courses is archived so that any course may be used at any time for private or class study. OBC Course Archives. The book is rich with excitement and victory and we are encouraged by its message which shows how the church grew despite great persecution and opposition.
