Lesson 33

ANSWERS

Lesson Text:  John 9: 13-23

Family Discussion

Why did the Pharisees call Jesus a sinner because He healed on the Sabbath?  What was the Law they were accusing Him of breaking?  Did He break it?

They had changed God's rule about the Sabbath; at creation God set aside the 7th day for resting but the Pharisees made their own tradition out of it and called it a sin to break their law as if it was God's; Jesus never broke God's rules but He did break the Pharisees traditional rules.
