DECISIONS
AND THEIR CONSEQUENCES

Please do not send your answers as attachments).
1.
Define the word “consequences” from any dictionary—telling all
the ways it can be used.
2.
Approximately sixteen potential decisions are listed
in the introduction. Using those
as a guideline, you may add more ideas to each one (typing
in a different color for easy viewing) or you may add new
decisions you think of to the bottom of the list.
If you do the latter, please continue the numbering system and also make
your additions a different color.

Quote Proverbs 16:9 and Proverbs 16:33.
Using the verses (phrase by phrase) explain what these verses are
saying in simple English.

Read the accounts of Ananias and Sapphira (Acts 5:1-11), Nadab and
Abihu (Lev 10:1-2) and the rich man (Lu 12:16-21).
List the decision and the resulting consequence in each case.

How were the consequences for Lazarus and the rich man delayed in Luke
16:19-31?

What does Job say about how the wicked live in this world?
Consider Romans 2:4 and tell how it might relate to the passage in
Job 21:7-13.

Why do good people have bad things happen to them (Hebrews 12:11)?

Who is going to suffer persecution in this life (2 Timothy 3:12)?

Ephesians 1:3 talks about how we are blessed with “all spiritual
blessings” in Christ. Explain
the difference between spiritual and physical blessings?
List some spiritual blessings found in Christ?

10.
What will happen to those who “know not God” and who “obey not
the gospel” of our Lord Jesus Christ?
(2 Thessalonians 1:7-9) Will
the consequences of such a decision be immediate?
11.
What will happen to people who do evil (1 Peter 3:12)?
12.
Read Num 20:7-12 and pay particular attention to verse 12.
What did Moses do that was wrong and what did he fail to do that
caused him not to be able to go into the land of Canaan?
13.
What mistake did David make in 2 Samuel 12:10-12?
What was the consequence of his action?
14.
How were the people of Israel affected by David’s punishment?
15.
Give a modern day example from the media or from your own circle of
acquaintances where someone has made a bad decision and is now having to
suffer the consequences. Explain
whether these are temporary (physical) consequences or whether they are
spiritual eternal consequences?
